The CBR-managed histology core is currently located in Bertelsmeyer 220 and features all necessary equipment for tissue sample processing and staining, including a Sakura Tissue-Tek VIP 5 tissue processor and a Leica CM1860 cryostat. All equipment is currently free to use for CBR members and their students.
All prospective users will be required to complete training before keycard access to the facility will be granted. Required training includes general laboratory safety training located at
BSL-2 safety training (contact Michelle Bresnahan for training, Equipment use must also be scheduled in advance through the Histology Users - MST Outlook group calendar.Please contact Anna Chernatynskaya or Katie Tooley for more information and for required training.
