The Center for Biomedical Research's 2026 seminar series continues on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the Innovation Lab - Forum, featuring Dr. Wilber Huang presenting "The Road from Reagent to Drug Development." Huang is the Founder, President and CEO, and Chairman of Abnova Corporation, as well as the Founder of Citil Pharma. The event is hosted by Missouri S&T.

On Tuesday, July 21 at noon, Shelley Minteer, PhD, will present "Using the Body's Own Chemistry to Power Implantable Health Devices" as part of the Discovery Series LED. Minteer is a Professor of Chemistry at Missouri S&T and Director of the NSF Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry. The talk is co-sponsored by Mizzou, UMKC, Missouri S&T, UMSL, and NextGen Precision Health.
